Services / Chiropractic Care in Singapore
Chiropractic care at ASPINE Wellness starts with an assessment of your symptoms, spinal movement and daily activities. When appropriate, care combines manual treatment, exercise and practical advice to support movement and function.
Who may consider chiropractic care?
You may consider an assessment for recurring neck or back discomfort, stiffness, or movement-related symptoms that affect work, sleep or exercise. The consultation helps determine whether chiropractic care, another discipline or medical referral is the appropriate next step.
Pain is a symptom, not a diagnosis. A history of similar symptoms does not automatically mean the same treatment is right today.
What happens at the first appointment?
- Discuss your concerns: symptoms, onset, previous injuries, medical history and goals.
- Examine relevant findings: movement, strength and neurological or orthopaedic screening when indicated.
- Explain the options: what treatment may involve, expected benefits, risks and alternatives.
- Agree on a plan: establish goals and when progress will be reassessed.
Bring existing reports or scans if you have them. New imaging is considered when it is likely to affect diagnosis or management.
What may treatment include?
- Joint mobilisation or chiropractic adjustments when appropriate.
- Mobility, strengthening and rehabilitation exercises.
- Advice about work tasks, activity and managing symptoms between visits.
- Coordination with other ASPINE practitioners when there is a clear reason.
Spinal manipulation may help some neck and back pain presentations, but outcomes vary. For low-back pain, NICE recommends considering manual therapy as part of a package that includes exercise. An adjustment is one possible component of care; it does not guarantee permanent changes to spinal anatomy.
How chiropractic fits into LPPL
In ASPINE’s LPPL programme, TCM may lead suitable acute presentations. Chiropractic care may then address relevant structural and functional concerns through assessment, movement work and rehabilitation. Some patients need a different sequence or just one discipline.

When to seek medical care first
Sudden neurological symptoms, rapidly worsening weakness, new bladder or bowel changes with back pain, or severe symptoms after significant trauma need urgent medical attention. Do not wait for a routine appointment. See our neck-pain warning-sign guide.
Frequently asked questions
Will I receive an adjustment at the first visit?
Not necessarily. Assessment comes first. Treatment depends on the findings, your preferences and informed consent.
Does chiropractic care replace exercise?
Exercise and self-management can be important parts of the plan. Hands-on treatment should support your functional goals.
How many visits will I need?
There is no universal number. The plan and review points depend on your presentation, goals and response. Ask what improvement is expected and when the plan should change.
