ASPINE Wellness Singapore

Integrated Spine, Scoliosis & Posture Services in Singapore

ASPINE Wellness brings chiropractic, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), physiotherapy and Scolio-Pilates together in a coordinated approach to spinal health, posture, movement and scoliosis care.

Care is tailored to the individual. Not every patient needs every service, and treatment is selected according to the history, examination findings, goals and, when relevant, imaging or specialist recommendations.

Our integrated care model

Rather than treating each service as a separate pathway, ASPINE coordinates care when more than one discipline may be useful.

  1. Assess: understand your symptoms, posture, movement and clinical history.
  2. Plan: identify the most appropriate discipline or combination of services.
  3. Integrate: combine hands-on care, movement, exercise and rehabilitation when clinically appropriate.
  4. Reassess: review progress and adjust the plan based on measurable findings and your goals.

Chiropractic & spinal care

Chiropractic care at ASPINE begins with a clinical assessment of the spine, posture and movement. Depending on the findings, care may include manual therapy, chiropractic adjustments, mobility work, exercise, ergonomic advice and other rehabilitation strategies.

The goal is not to promise a “perfect” spine or guaranteed pain relief. The aim is to improve movement, reduce mechanical sensitivity where possible and help patients function more comfortably in daily life.

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

TCM can be incorporated as a complementary part of care for selected patients. Assessment and treatment are provided by the relevant TCM practitioner and may be coordinated with the broader rehabilitation plan when appropriate.

Because different health conditions require different approaches, TCM is not automatically included in every programme. The recommended plan depends on the patient’s needs and clinical findings.

LPPL: ASPINE’s Signature Chiropractic & TCM Programme

LPPL is ASPINE Wellness’s signature programme, bringing chiropractic and Traditional Chinese Medicine together in one coordinated pathway for selected patients who may benefit from both approaches.

The programme begins with assessment and uses each discipline only when it has a clear role in the care plan. Integration does not mean every patient receives both treatments at every visit.

Physiotherapy & functional rehabilitation

Physiotherapy focuses on movement, mobility, strength and function. It may be useful when rehabilitation requires targeted exercise, progressive loading, movement retraining or return-to-activity planning.

When care is shared across disciplines, the aim is to keep the plan coordinated so that hands-on treatment and rehabilitation support the same functional goals.

Scolio-Pilates

Scolio-Pilates at ASPINE is a scoliosis-focused movement programme that incorporates breathing, postural awareness, mobility, strength and muscle balance. Sessions are adapted to the individual’s presentation rather than using a one-size-fits-all exercise routine.

Scolio-Pilates may be used on its own or alongside chiropractic and other rehabilitation services. It does not replace medical assessment, bracing or surgical consultation when those are indicated.

Scoliosis assessment & management

ASPINE provides scoliosis-focused assessment for children, adolescents and adults. A screening may include posture observation, the Adam’s forward bend test and measurement of trunk asymmetry. When scoliosis is suspected or already diagnosed, standing spinal X-rays may be reviewed or recommended to quantify the curve using the Cobb angle.

Management is individualised according to factors such as curve size, age, remaining growth, symptoms, functional goals and whether the curve is changing. Depending on the case, the plan may include observation, exercise-based care, Scolio-Pilates, chiropractic or manual care for associated musculoskeletal symptoms, and referral for bracing or specialist assessment when appropriate.

We do not guarantee that non-surgical care will reduce a Cobb angle. For children and adolescents, monitoring growth and curve progression is an important part of appropriate scoliosis management.

Posture correction & spinal rehabilitation

Posture care at ASPINE focuses on more than asking patients to “sit up straight”. We assess how posture, movement habits, mobility, strength and daily activities may contribute to symptoms or functional limitations.

Depending on the assessment, rehabilitation may include corrective exercise, mobility work, strengthening, postural retraining and selected traction or decompression technologies.

What happens at your first visit?

  1. Clinical history: we discuss your main concern, health history and goals.
  2. Assessment: this may include posture, spinal movement, orthopaedic or neurological screening, and condition-specific testing when appropriate.
  3. Imaging review: if you already have relevant X-rays or scans, bring them with you. Imaging is recommended only when clinically appropriate.
  4. Care plan: we explain which service or combination of services may be appropriate and what the next steps are.

Which service is right for me?

You do not need to decide whether you need chiropractic, TCM, physiotherapy or Scolio-Pilates before booking. Every patient begins with a consultation and assessment so we can understand the problem and recommend the most appropriate starting point.

  • Recent injuries or new-onset pain: TCM or physiotherapy may be considered first, particularly when there is acute muscle soreness, soft-tissue irritation or a recent strain. The consultation helps determine whether this is appropriate or whether further assessment or referral is needed.
  • Longer-standing neck or back problems: chiropractic and physiotherapy may be considered when the problem appears more mechanical, movement-related or persistent. TCM may also be incorporated when appropriate.
  • Posture concerns: a posture and movement assessment can help determine whether corrective exercise, chiropractic care, physiotherapy or a combination may be useful.
  • Known or suspected scoliosis: a scoliosis-focused assessment is the recommended starting point so we can review posture, growth, spinal asymmetry and any available imaging before discussing management options.
  • Movement, strength or return-to-activity goals: physiotherapy or functional rehabilitation may be prioritised to improve mobility, strength, movement control and confidence with activity.
  • Scoliosis-specific exercise: Scolio-Pilates may be incorporated to work on breathing, posture, mobility, strength and muscle balance as part of an individualised scoliosis programme.

Frequently asked questions

Does every ASPINE patient receive chiropractic care?

No. The recommended service depends on the assessment, goals and clinical findings. Some patients may benefit from one discipline, while others may use an integrated plan.

Can chiropractic, TCM, physiotherapy and Scolio-Pilates be combined?

Yes, when clinically appropriate. The purpose of integration is to coordinate care rather than simply add more treatments.

Do I need an X-ray before my first appointment?

Not necessarily. Bring any existing relevant imaging if you have it. New imaging is considered when the history or examination indicates that it may affect diagnosis or management.

Does ASPINE see children with scoliosis?

Yes. ASPINE assesses children and adolescents with suspected or diagnosed scoliosis. Because growth affects scoliosis management, monitoring and referral decisions are particularly important in younger patients.

Start with an assessment

If you are unsure which service is appropriate, begin with a clinical assessment. We can then recommend the most suitable pathway and explain whether a single discipline or integrated approach makes sense for your needs.
